Huawei Looks Forward to Your Participation in ACP
[Shenzhen, China, November 17, 2015] The Fifth Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP) will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel on November 20-23, 2015. The ACP is Asia’s largest conference on optical communications, photonics, and related technologies.
The annual conference was launched in 2001 and jointly sponsored by the OSA, SPIE, and the IEEE Photonics Society. ACP 2015 is expected to attract over 1000 leaders and experts in the optical communications industry.
As one of the ACP’s diamond sponsors, Huawei will host a symposium titled "Optical Networks in 2020" on November 20 at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel. The one-day symposium will cover two topics: part one will focus on building next-gen all-optical networks with ROADM/OXC and other advanced architectures, while part two will discuss application of optical technology for rapidly growing mobile and data center (DC) applications, including 4G/5G transport and DC intra/inter connect architectures and technologies.
The symposium will comprise 12 keynote speeches, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Experts from leading telecom operators in China, Japan, and Germany, as well as scholars and experts from universities and institutes will participate. The list of participants includes: Professor Ben Yoo, IEEE Fellow at the University of California at Davis, Professor Ming Wu, IEEE Fellow from the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Yiran Ma from China Telecom, Dr. Shikui Shen from China Unicom, Professor Siyuan Yu from the University of Bristol, Professor Idelfonso Monroy and Dr. Victor Mehmeri from the Technical University of Denmark, Edward Shu from Finisar, Professor Gangxiang Shen from Soochow University, Dr. Hiroshi Yamazaki from NTT, and Dr. Jinlong Wei from ADVA.
Among the keynotes will be Huawei’s Mr. Jinhui Wang, Marketing Support Manager at Huawei’s Transmission Network Products Line, speaking on the latest developments in optical network solutions and discussing the optical network industry in 2020 and beyond Newly developed technologies will drive evolution of existing optical networks towards a simple, all-optical architecture.
Huawei and ACP cordially invite you to attend the conference, join in the discussion, and help shape the future of the optical communication industry.
